Les Bigonnies Estate is 1h20 from Bergerac airport, 1h40 from Limoges airport, 1h45 from Bordeaux airport and 1h50 from Brive airport.

Angoulême TGV station is only 40 minutes from the estate, Libourne TGV is 1h20 away.

About us

We’d always dreamed about moving to France, and during the pandemic we decided to follow this dream. My cousin lives in France and they found Les Bigonnies for us, they were amazed by the potential and beauty of the property and its surroundings. We viewed it for the first time in February 2022 and instantly knew the property and the move to France were the best things to happen in both our lives.

The property had been used for years as a holiday home by one family, so it hadn’t been properly lived in and needed some love and attention. Raring to go and start our new lives in this amazing community, we got the keys in July 2022. Visas dealt with, our dog’s medical checks completed, we moved over in a heatwave!

We cracked on with the renovations, which at times just felt like an endless list of things to do! But we were passionate about sharing this beautiful place and area with our family, friends, and guests. We knew we could make a stunning place for people to enjoy the space and tranquillity together. Nothing gives us greater pleasure than hearing how much people have enjoyed staying here, we hope you will too.
