Les Bigonnies Estate dates back to 1623 and encapsulates the essence and beauty of France, with 6 acres of secluded grounds surrounded by stunning hills, woods, and valleys: a perfect setting to recharge, breathe, and rediscover the peaceful rhythm of country life with village bar, restaurants and shop within a 20-minute walk.

The property is perfect for families, groups of friends or for celebrating a special occasion. Comprising of 2 houses (Champagne and Fontaine) and a studio apartment, the accommodation is flexible for up to 14 guests. Whatever configuration you go for, you’ll have the exclusive use of the entire estate including its private heated pool, multiple dining terraces, games room and the grounds.

Les Bigonnies Estate has recently been lovingly renovated to offer 7 double bedrooms (5 en suite) across the 3 beautiful stone buildings. Outside you’ll enjoy two dining terraces, a covered lounge area and outdoor kitchen and the heated pool. The pool is 10 x 5m and has sun loungers and parasols for you to relax under. The games room offers table tennis, darts, and a cinema style smart TV for watching sports of films on together.

The Estate is nestled in the heart of Champagne-et-Fontaine, a haven of greenery and tranquillity in the northwest of the Dordogne. You can walk through the woods to the village, it’s situated 20 minutes north of Ribérac, 30 minutes west of Brantôme and 40 minutes south of Angoulême where there is a TGV station. It can also be easily Bergerac airport (1h20) and from Bordeaux airport and TGV station (1h40).

Pets are welcome with prior approval; there is high speed internet and an EV charger. A private chef, wine tasting at the estate, yoga and massages can be arranged. You’ll be afforded total privacy as there are no neighbours and the owners don’t live on site, although are only 25 minutes away if you should need anything.
